General Council Report

This is to notify you of a called meeting of the Presbytery of Transylvania to be held Saturday,

May 21, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Burnamwood Camp and Conference Center at 900 Burnamwood

Rd., Irvine, Kentucky. The Moderator, Elder Ruth Beattie, has called this meeting in accord

with the Book of Order at the request of ministers The Rev. Kathy Riley and The Rev. Melissa

Sevier and Ruling Elders Richard Eads of the First Presbyterian Church of Paris and Erica Hom

of the Beaumont Presbyterian Church.

The following items of business will be considered:

(1) The examination of candidate Tim Dodenhoff for ordination;

(2) The appointment of a commission to install Tim Dodenhoff as the pastor of the Peter

Creek and Shepard Memorial Presbyterian churches;

(3) Hear the report of the Administration Committee concerning the sale of church

property and the purchase of new property by the Korean Presbyterian Church; and

(4) To hear the recommendation of the General Council that the Presbytery adopt the

current Book of Order as its Manual of Operations in the event that the presbyteries

vote to adopt nFOG.

The above items of business will be considered as the docket; no other business may be

considered at this meeting.
